This is just impressive. One of my dreams -as a long time SCANIA truckdriver; would be test a longline truck like this. No just for all the extra comforts it offers to the driver/worker: But to compare how is handles on the road -in more advanced nordic winter conditions. Also extra cred to the fleet owner of this truck: That listens to the drivers/workers -on what kind of trucks to get 4 the company. -Man kör ju alltid så fort så att ingenting 'hinner' hända...

Just LB80, LB81, LB85 har ju hamnat lite i skymundan men var en otroligt vacker och fin lastbil när den presenterades och populär bland räddningstjänst, distribution av bryggerivaror, byggnadsmaterial. En fin representant för den vanliga lastbilen som var uppbyggd precis som dom större modellsyskonen men som inte fick det publika genomslaget.

@@TomasVarg No. These Scanias 140 and 141 have practically disappeared and some survivors are in collections located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. In Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul is the land of Scanias, as the people there love this brand.
The T143 could almost pass as a modern US truck, lol. It still looks so good to this day!

If Bruce and Scania succeed in what they are doing, I think this cab style would be very appealing to US long-distance drivers! It is one beautiful truck for sure. How much longer it is than a standard 6x4? Doesn't seem that much longer for all the space inside of the cab.
